dig in the crates

5 underrated R&B debut albums from the 90s and early 00s

Before Ray J was a reality TV star or Ameriie was talking about that one thing or Eric Benét made us all want to spend our lives with the one or Bilal was channeling Prince or Robin Thicke was singing about those blurred lines, they were all brand new artists who made a small splash on the music scene. However, despite their humble beginnings, each of these artists came in the industry with amazing debut albums that didn’t get nearly as much exposure as they deserved. So this Music Monday, I wanted to dig through the crates and pull out these five artists’ debut albums for our enjoyment! There is nothing like finding those hidden gems you never knew about before so I hope you listen and love!
