When one walks in a room and the sun is sleeping and the window shades are drawn and no one else is in the room, one searches for the closest switch to turn on in fear of what could be lurking in the dark. In life, the unknown is the darkness and the switch brings the artificial light that comforts us in times of fear.
One usually forgets to simply wait for the sun because one always wants to know, even if what one knows is pure illusory.
